Very intrigued by this Lily James movie! I'm such a fan of so many of her films. I have single friends who have legitimately wish for a more arranged marriage system. It's tough out there!
Several years ago the chaplaincy in London asked me to sit on an inter-faith panel about marriage at UCLH. it was so interesting to encounter young people for whom an arranged marriage was actually a likely possibility!
We really like Lily James- maybe thatβs another reason it was so good! I feel like all the movies Iβve seen with her in it have had some (for lack of a better word) wholesome elements in them.
Just bought and used ground cardamon for the first time ever this year (in some baking). This recipe of yours sounds intriguing!
That essay of Louise Perry's is going down as one of my most memorable this yea. Ever since I read it it's come up multiple times. I love the way Jim of Nuclear Meltdown has been writing pieces that dovetail well it.
I meant to h/t you in this for pointing out her essay- Iβll do so tomorrow when Iβm on my computer. I havenβt been reading Nuclear Meltdown so I look forward to diving in- thanks for another great rec as always!

I've never thought of pairing cardamom and coffee! Great idea.
Thanks!
